Kerry Lee Morris-Cormier

Kerry Lee Morris-Cormier is manager of the Nature Conservancy of Canada's Shorebird Interpretation Centre in Johnson's Mills, New Brunswick.

Johnson's Mills is located 8 kilometres from the Village of Dorchester, New Brunswick. It earned international prominence when it was included along with Shepody Bay to the Ramsar list of Wetlands of International Importance. It is also part of Canada's Western Hemispheric Shorebird Reserve and is listed as an Important Bird Area. The mudflats and pebble beach make the area the perfect feeding and resting place for flocks of tens of thousands of migratory Semipalmated Sandpipers each summer. Staff at the Johnson's Mills Interpretive Centre provide public education and monitor shorebirds, and ensure that ecotourism is conducted in a manner which is not harmful to the birds.
