Biography

I am fortunate to live in the beautiful countryside of the Eastern Townships in Quebec, where I look after a bed and breakfast with my family, my dog, my cats, and my horse.

I discovered the pleasures of reading and writing very early in my childhood.

I wanted to share my enjoyment of reading and writing with the younger set so I became a teacher. I have a Bachelor of Education degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and I taught arts and creativity at the CEGEP level. I worked for over 25 years at the preschool, elementary, and college levels.

During my teaching career, I explored a playful and creative world, writing my own stories that I carefully kept hidden in my desk drawer.

In 2009, a horseback-riding accident left me with permanent after-effects, and I had to make a new life for myself. So I reached into the bottom of my drawer and pulled out a small, hidden, and almost forgotten pleasure. I then returned to writing on a daily basis. I have written children’s books, which I hope will help you inject some fantasy into your life.

I have two series for children published by Guérin Editeur Ltée, Mélo! (five volumes), and Max Mallette (five volumes), and another series published by Éditions Bouton d’or Acadie, Lizzy d’Armoirie (two volumes).

Welcome to my literary world.
