Peter Gillet is from Oromocto, but now lives by a lake in New Brunswick, Canada, with his wife and their two cats. How has New Brunswick influenced your work?

Besides the more casual influences from growing up and living in New Brunswick, I have a series of short stories in the Lovecraftian horror genre which use New Brunswick and its history as a backdrop.

What is your favourite New Brunswick book, and why?

I do not currently have a favourite.

What do you consider to be the highlight of your career so far?

The highlight of my career so far has been publishing my first book, Mind Full of Prose. A close second would be finishing the first draft of my first novel.
