How has New Brunswick influenced your work?
It has been a place rich with writers and artists who have become an important and valuable part of my circle. They have been inspirational to me in the development of my writing, which is now moving from non-fiction to fiction.
Living by the ocean in Shediac is also a vital piece of the jigsaw that creates a full image of life as a writer.
What do you consider to be the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight is (and is always) the book I am currently writing.
