Biography
Born and raised in Moncton and attended Moncton High School. A fiction writer whose work has appeared in literary journals such as Riddle Fence, The New Quarterly, The Dalhousie Review and in anthologies such as Victory Meat: New Fiction from Atlantic Canada and The Vagrant Revue of New Fiction. One book to date: S., A Novel in [xxx] Dreams with Fredericton's Broken Jaw Press. Currently Executive Director of the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick.
How has New Brunswick influenced your work?
The prevalence of forests, of rivers; the slow pace of life; paths, the ocean, the night sky. Also: les deux langues, the richness in vocabulary.
What is your favourite New Brunswick book, and why?
Stilt Jack, by John Thompson. A haunting work.
