Personal achievements: Serenity, overcoming a double organ transplant.
Personal statement: Most important in being happy is remembering to be. Once you have that down, just let the rest flow naturally.
How has New Brunswick influenced your work?
I have gotten to meet many writers and aspiring writers through organizations such as the Writers Federation of New Brunswick. Hearing their take on the writing process and having a back and forth dialogue really helps one develop their own writing process and move from an idea to the printed page
What do you consider to be the highlight of your career so far?
Being included in the 2013 Saint John Free Public Library's Human Library program where readers could borrow me for 15-30 minutes either individually or in a group and ask me questions about my own story.
