MLA, Fredericton-Grand Lake

Pam Lynch was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick on September 27, 2010, representing the riding of Fredericton-Fort Nashwaak. On September 22, 2014, Ms. Lynch was reelected as the Progressive Conservative MLA for the riding of Fredericton-Grand Lake. She is also very honoured to be the first female MLA to be elected in the City of Fredericton.

During her first term as MLA, she was a member of the Standing Committee on Crown Corporations and the Standing Committee on Law Amendments. She was named Legislative Secretary to the Minister of Environment, responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women and Communications New Brunswick, on November 5, 2010. Ms. Lynch has most recently been appointed Caucus Chair for the Official Opposition.

Born in Kingsclear, New Brunswick, she is a long-time resident of the City of Fredericton. After graduating from Fredericton High School, she went to work for the New Brunswick Civil Service with the Department of Transportation and then the Department of Justice, Provincial Court.

In 1991, Ms. Lynch started a legal services business which thrived through dedication and a reputation built on excellence in customer service. As a self-employed business woman, she understands the importance of working hard to achieve success.

Ms. Lynch has a long history of helping people and giving back to her community. She has been a volunteer on many committees, boards and charitable organizations including: Fredericton Women’s Executive, York Care Centre, past Board Member Fredericton Transition House, past Board Member Fredericton Chamber of Commerce, Wine and Food Fest – Canadian Diabetes Association, Feast In the Field – Canadian Paraplegic Association, Fredericton 150 Anniversary Gala Bal, Lobster On the Lawn – Canadian Red Cross, Dinner and Auction – Canadian Red Cross, Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, Ambassador – New Brunswick Association for Community Living.

Her hobbies include politics, world events, fitness, knitting, reading and volunteering. Ms. Lynch and her husband Pat have always resided in Fredericton.
