Application for a Special Ballot
During an election, an elector can request to vote by mail by using an online submission process. The submission process will collect required information, and send an email to your local returning office.
The online submission process requires you to enter your civic number, street name, and community to determine in which Local Government, school district, and health region you are located.
Under subsection 39.1(2) of the Municipal Elections Act, an application for a special ballot may be made after the Notice of Election has been issued.
