During an election, an elector can request to vote by mail by using an online submission process. The submission process will collect required information, and send an email to your local returning office.

Following the deadline for candidate nominations, ballots can be prepared. Once ballots are prepared, election officers in your returning office will prepare and send you a voting package.

The online submission process requires you to enter your civic number, street name, and community to determine in which Local Government, school district, and health region you are located.

To begin, please type your civic number, street name (without a street type such as St, Rd, Dr, etc), and choose your community.


(i.e. type "Main" not "Main Street")

In addition, streets in the city of Edmundston are listed using the (ward) community names as follows: Edmundston, Saint-Basile, Saint-Jacques, or Verret.
