New Brunswick is the first province in Atlantic Canada to commit to the acquisition of PET/CT scanners, a leading edge diagnostic imaging device used to detect and help treat cancers, Premier Bernard Lord announced today. The scanners will be located at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital in Moncton and the Saint John Regional Hospital.
