Premier Shawn Graham and Hédard Albert, the Minister of Human Resources and Minister responsible for the Francophonie, presented a cheque for $200,000 to Carmen Gibbs, the Executive Director of the Association acadienne des artistes professionelles du Nouveau-Brunswick (AAAPNB). The grant, allocated under the joint programs of the Government of New Brunswick and Canadian Heritage in official languages, will be used for preparations for the Francophone arts and culture summit in Acadian society in New Brunswick.
