A new regional family-indoor pool worth $3.4 million will be constructed thanks to a funding partnership between the Town of Shippagan and the Canada-New Brunswick Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (CNBMRIF).
The joint federal, provincial and municipal infrastructure project was announced today by Premier Bernard Lord; Peter MacKay, minister of foreign affairs and minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA); and Jonathan Roch Noël, mayor of Shippagan.
