The official opening of the new satellite dialysis unit in the Northern Carleton Hospital in Bath took place today, only a week after serving its first patients.
Taking part were Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister David Alward; Mardi Cockburn, board chair of River Valley Health; Supply and Services Minister Dale Graham; Jennifer Dobbelsteyn, executive director of the N.B. branch of the Kidney Foundation of Canada; Marilyn Strong of the Harrison McCain Foundation; and Mike Weston, president of the Rotary Club of Florenceville.
