Text   New provincial service will provide ongoing support for PKU patients

As part of the provincial health plan, Healthy Futures, a new provincial service has been established to provide ongoing support for New Brunswickers who suffer from the rare metabolic disorder Phenylketonuria (PKU).  From left: Pierre J. Le Bouthillier, president and CEO of the Beausjéour Regional Health Authority; Kent South MLA Claude Williams; Dr. Marie-Josée Roy, pediatrician at the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority; Chantal Parent, PKU provincial program co-ordinator; and Adélard Comier, chair of the board of trustees of the Beauséjour Regional Health Authority.
