From left: Intergovernmental and International Relations Minister Percy Mockler, Education Minister Madeleine Dubé, and Camille Thériault, CEO of the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes, visited kindergarten students at École Régionale de Saint-Basile on Oct. 24 to mark the distribution of books to the students as part of the Caisses populaires acadiennes literacy program, Lire, découvrir et grandir.
“Instilling in children a love of reading is one of the most precious gifts we can give,” Dubé.said. “I congratulate the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes on this initiative that directly supports the literacy goals of the Quality Learning Agenda.”
