A new, 4.3-km section of the Fundy Trail Parkway east of St. Martins officially opened. The opening was attended by Premier Shawn Graham; National Revenue Keith Ashfield, who is also minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and minister for the Atlantic Gateway; Rob Moore, minister of state (small business and tourism); Frank Wilson, president of Fundy Trail Parkway Inc.; members of the Fundy Trail Development Authority (FTDA) Inc.; and local mayors.
