Text   160 young francophone leaders attend the provincial leadership symposium

About 160 young student council leaders from the 22 francophone high schools in the province attended the 18th provincial leadership symposium, which took place Sept. 17-20, at École Mathieu-Martin in Dieppe. The symposium was hosted by École Mathieu-Martin in partnership with the Fédération des jeunes francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick (FJFNB) and the Department of Education.  From left: Michel Power, principal, École Mathieu-Martin; Education Minister Roland Haché; Dieppe Mayor Jean LeBlanc; Hélène Devarennes, director of education, School District 1; Alexis Couture, president of FJFNB; Sylvain Gingras, teacher and school life monitor, École Mathieu-Martin; and Jacques Cool, provincial pedagogical agent responsible for the school life file.
