Status of Women
The 53 recipients of the Wage Gap Action Plan Scholarship for 2009 were announced today by Mary Schryer, minister responsible for the status of women. Forty-two women and 11 men were awarded scholarships, which will cover their tuition costs for the first year at either the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) or the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB).
