The New Brunswick Canada Games Swim Team was recently selected following a number of meets. The girls who will represent NB in Prince Edward Island are Danielle Merasty, UNB (Hanwell), Danielle Losier, FAST (Fredericton), Marya Peters, SSC (Sackville), Jen Acheson, UNB (St.Stephen), Eryn Weldon, CVAC (Moncton), Kaitlyn Young, FAST (Fredericton), Marie-Pier Daigle, BLAST (Bathurst), Leanne Roach, CVAC (Riverview), Tania Bourgeois, CNBO (Dieppe), Monica MacDonald, FAST (Fredericton), Gabby Doiron, TIDE (Quispamsis) and Jacqueline Murchison, TIDE (Saint John). Alternates are Le’Anne Sluyter, TIDE (Saint John) and Keisha Mills, CNBO (Miramichi). The boys team will consist of Mitchell Peters, SSC (Sackville), Louis Savoie, CNBO (Dieppe), Tyler Berryman, CVAC (Moncton), René Boudreau, UNB (New Maryland) Nick Mendoza, UNB/TIDE (Quispamsis), Dylan Bartlett, FAST (Woodstock), Dylan Wooley-Berry, SSC (Sackville) and Simon Javidi, BLAST (Bathurst). Coaches are Paula Crutcher, Paula Murchison, Paule Pépin and Marta Belsh while David Frise is team manager.
