The New Brunswick government will contribute an additional $800,000 toward the organization of the 2009 World Acadian Congress, Premier Shawn Graham announced today. From left: Denis Landry, minister of transportation; Hédard Albert, minister of wellness, culture and sport, and minister responsible for the Francophonie; Roméo Thériault, mayor of Grande-Anse; Graham; Jean-Guy Rioux, president, Congrès Mondial Acadien 2009 organizing committee; and Carmel Robichaud, minister of local government.
