Members of Eastern Charlotte Waterways Inc. and St. George Mayor Stan Smith joined Environment and Local Government Minister Brenda Fowlie for a tree planting, which is the 'living legacy' aspect of the province's Environmental Leadership Awards. Eastern Charlotte Waterways received a 2002 awards medal in the Community, Group or Organization category.
