Application for a Special Ballot

During an election, an elector can request to vote by mail by using an online submission process. The submission process will collect required information, and send an email to your local returning office.

The online submission process requires you to enter your civic number, street name, and community to determine in which electoral district you are located.

Under subsection 87.6(2) of the Elections Act, an application for a special ballot may be made after the Writ of election has been issued.
