Municipal Returning Officers

The Municipal Returning Officers assist the Municipal Electoral Officer in making it possible for voters to exercise their right to vote. They are appointed by the Municipal Electoral Officer and are responsible for the administrative conduct of the elections within their regions. They must also act as a financial and human resource manager, strategic planner, personnel recruiter, mediator and public relations officer.
