9 February Saturday. 10am-5pm: March of the 104th (New Brunswick) Regiment of Foot to be celebrated with re-enactment events The New Brunswick Museum, in partnership with the St. John River Society and other organizations, will be hosting an event to commemorate the War of 1812. With special attention being given to the famous march by the 104th Regiment, that took place during the winter of 1813 in order to get troops to the then Upper Canada to ward off a possible invasion by American forces. The Museum will be open 10-5 pm, and will have free admission for the day. |
