| Description | Using photographs of the former �cole sup�rieure (�cole Blanche) from 1946 to 1951, the Saint-Isidore Museum is working on a research project to identify people and events from that period. The former school now houses the Club d��ge d�Or (seniors' club), and many of its members attended the school during the period in question. The purpose of this research is to gather as much information as possible for use at the museum�s New Brunswick Day celebrations this summer. A celebration is also planned for the start of classes in September to mark the 50th anniversary of the opening of the �cole Consolid�e de Saint-Isidore back in 1963. Educational reform resulted in the new school (now known as �cole La Rel�ve) accommodating junior high and high school students from across the parish, while �cole Blanche housed the elementary students. |
