The sacred drum circle is being hosted by Louise Albert and Reg Roy, who are Métis. The program is open to all ages, 5 to 105. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The program starts with introductions followed by some First Nation songs, as well as a "free jam", consisting of African and Arabic beats, wherever Spirit takes you, and ends with singing the "Honor Song of the Mi’kmaq” by George Paul. There will be drums and percussions from different parts of the world available at the program but bring your own, if you have them. To register for this program contact the library at 387-2108.
