History

The Laval-Goupil Public Library in Shippagan is one of 52 public libraries in the provincial network, which also includes 11 public school libraries. It has been part of it since 1980 and has been located at 128 Mgr Chiasson street since December 2008. Whether you like to read or not, the library is sure to have something to keep you interested, like movie DVDs or music CDs, talks on a variety of topics ranging from financial literacy to gardening, crafts to story time, and even the visit of Maman Noël who has been presenting Advent Tales since 2018 on the library's Facebook page from December 1st to the 24th. At the library everything is possible, no idea is far-fetched, if the interest of the users is there, we find the contributor who can make the activity possible. Hope to see you soon and thank you to all organizations, local businesses, and the community for your support.
