Biography
Becca Blue is a writer, director, photographer and graphic designer whose work blends emotional depth with a touch of the supernatural. She is the author of The Guardians of Your Heart trilogy and the children's series My Dog Bruce. Her first award-winning film, All I Need, became the prelude to The Guardians of Your Heart, establishing her signature style of love, loss, and redemption. When she isn't writing her next book or directing her next film, she's traveling with her pets and helping other indie authors publish their books, as Becca holds a diploma in Graphic Design & Interactive Media.
How has New Brunswick influenced your work?
New Brunswick [gives] me a relaxing atmosphere to write, reflect and connect with many other indie authors.
What is your favourite New Brunswick book, and why?
My favourite New Brunswick book... It's hard to choose. I'm in between two right now that are fantasy romance ones [that] I found at Dog Eared Books!
What do you consider to be the highlight of your career so far?
think the highlight of my career has been when I turned my first self-published book into my first feature indie film. That film won [a Royal Reel Award] at the Canadian Film Fest!
