Biography
I am originally from the Gaspé, but I moved to N.B. in 1991. I have been writing since the age of 19 and my first children’s novel was published in 2012 by Editions Karo (which no longer exists).
I completed high school at the Matane Polyvalente and my post-secondary studies at the Cegep in Rimouski and at the Université de Moncton.
How has New Brunswick influenced your work?
Parlee Beach, the walking trails, and the cultural variety provide constant inspiration.
What is your favourite New Brunswick book, and why?
L'Averti by Vanessa Leger – her reference to feminism and description of places.
What do you consider to be the highlight of your career so far?
Meeting with young people during book fairs, who are a constant source of inspiration.
I have surrounded myself with key people who are very important to my development as an author.
