Hon. Craig Leonard
Minister of Energy and Mines.

Craig Leonard (Fredericton-Lincoln) is a business executive with more than 15 years of senior management experience.

Most recently, he was vice-president of Leonard Corporation, a management, investment, and holding company involved in the transportation, finance, and building materials industries. Previously, he was involved in the investment industry with ScotiaMcLeod Inc.

An active volunteer, Mr. Leonard has dedicated his time to various volunteer organizations, including the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, The Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation Inc., the East Coast Music Awards, and several youth sports programs.

He was elected to represent the constituency of Fredericton-Lincoln in the September 27, 2010 provincial election and was named Minister of Energy and Minister responsible for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Agency of New Brunswick on October 12, 2010. On March 15, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Government Services, Minister Responsible for the New Brunswick Internal Services Agency, and Minister Responsible for Service New Brunswick. On October 9, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Energy and Mines.

Mr. Leonard has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College in North Carolina.

He and his wife, Jill Davidson, have two children: William and Wallis.
