Text of Bill :
WHEREAS the Université de Moncton prays that it be enacted as hereinafter set forth;

THEREFORE, Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Subsection 4(2) of the Université de Moncton Act, chapter 94 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1986, is repealed and the following is substituted:

4(2) The role of each campus is outlined as follows:

(a)the Moncton campus is exclusively entitled to offer full university programmes leading to degrees at the bachelor, master and doctorate levels;

(b)notwithstanding paragraph (a), the Edmundston campus is entitled to offer the first two years of the University's programmes as well as the open bachelor of arts programme subject to specific conditions set out by the Academic Senate and also bachelor degree programmes in forestry sciences, agriculture and land use planning;

(c)notwithstanding paragraph (a), the Shippagan campus is entitled to offer the first two years of the University's programmes and bachelor degree programmes in coastal zone management and information management.
