The following is the sixth in a series of nine feature articles prepared for Heritage Week, Feb. 12 - 19, 2007. Sir Pierre-Amand Landry (1846-1916) was a great Acadian patriot from Memramcook. He was the first Acadian lawyer and the first Acadian judge of the Supreme Court of New Brunswick. His stately top hat rests in the collection of the Musée acadien of the Université de Moncton.
