 October 26, 2006 - FrederictonOffice of the Lieutenant-Governor1. Lt.-Gov. Herménégilde Chiasson was recently presented with the first poppy by members of the Royal Canadian Legion, New Brunswick Command. The legion will distribute more than 500,000 poppies in New Brunswick, leading up to Remembrance Day on Nov. 11. Mavis Cooper of Miramichi, 1st Vice-President of the Royal Canadian Legion, NB Command, presents the first poppy to the lieutenant-governor. | ||||
