Staff at the Fairmont Algonquin in St. Andrews plant a tree that they were presented with for receiving the 2003 Environmental Leadership Award in the Business category. They are joined by Trevor Holder (MLA-Saint John-Portland). The award is given by the Department of the Environment and Local Government for outstanding environmental contributions. This tree will serve as a living legacy to publicly acknowledge the recipient’s efforts, and to encourage those who visit St. Andrews to take similar action on behalf of the environment.
