Premier Bernard Lord recently met with the new President of the Société des Acadiens et Acadiennes du Nouveau-Brunswick (SAANB), Marie-Pierre Simard. The premier had the opportunity to discuss various matters and to determine issues of priority for the SAANB, including health, economic development, and education. Daniel Thériault, Director General of the SAANB, also attended the meeting.
