The Town of St. George will receive $589,096 under the Canada-New Brunswick Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund to upgrade its water-transmission system. The announcement was made recently by Trevor Holder, minister of the environment; Greg Thompson, minister of veterans affairs and regional minister responsible for New Brunswick; and Stanley Smith, mayor of St. George.
