Text   Federal and provincial governments invest $7.8 million in Fundy Trail

The Fundy Trail has received a total of $7.8 million from the federal and provincial governments towards Phase II of the trail project. The funding consists of $5.5 million from the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and $2.3 million from the province through the Regional Development Corporation.  Premier Bernard Lord and Veterans Affairs Minister Greg Thompson made the announcement recently at Big Salmon River, near St. Martins.
