The Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation recently announced that it will seek to raise $1 million towards the purchase of a new fixed MRI machine for the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Health Minister Brad Green said the new unit and a related expansion to the hospital are expected to cost between $5 and $6 million.
