The online registration service is only available to residents of the Province of New Brunswick. If you are not a resident, please visit a public library to request a visitor card. Request for replacements of stolen or lost cards as well as requests for educator cards must be done in person at your public library. You can apply for a library card by filling out the form below, or you can obtain one at your your local library. Enter your information in the appropriate spaces in the form. Please ensure all fields with an asterisk are filled in, or we will not be able to process your request. Please note that this request is intended for users who have not already obtained a library card. If your library card has been lost or stolen, please contact your local library.
When you register online, your library card will be mailed to you. You can use your library card to access online resources on our website as soon as you receive it. Just enter the barcode printed on the card when you are prompted to do so. When you visit a library for the first time to borrow library material, you will be asked to provide proof of identity (such as New Brunswick driver's license or any other government I.D.). If you have any questions about what is acceptable identification or about obtaining and using a library card, please contact your local library.
